Seeking a Life Model for a Drawing Series

Life Model Wanted

I am looking for a London based model/collaborator to work with on my Relationships Series project. There will be no photography involved. The theme of this project is our sense of emotional isolation – how even when physically close with someone, there may be a yawning chasm between us and we can feel alone and isolated. It’s a quiet, introspective body of work, and I’m looking for someone who’s interested in exploring these ideas with me. You can see paintings from the series here.
This will be a TFP job , where remuneration will be with drawings produced during the sessions – to be agreed before the sittings start.

Life modelling isn’t just about being drawn—it’s about stepping into a creative process that invites reflection, expression, and collaboration. Many people try it out not because they’re seasoned models, but because they’re curious about seeing themselves through an artist’s eyes, and contributing to something meaningful.
Whether you’re confident in your skin or simply open to exploring, life modelling can be a quietly transformative experience.

I find working with a model is a collaborative process. Your posture, mood, and ideas help guide each session. I welcome input: pose suggestions, emotional cues, even reflections on the themes. It’s a shared process, where your presence and perspective become part of the art.
This project explores emotional isolation, so I’m looking for someone who’s not just willing to be seen, but interested in expressing something deeper. You don’t need experience—just openness and a creative spirit.
