Present, Perfect, Continuous

“Present Perfect Continuous”, hosted by Zverev Contemporary Art Centre in Moscow, has just finished. This show was a collaboration between artnumber23 here in London, and  the Zverev Contemporary Art Centre.

My contribution to the show was my portrait “Michael”, which the organisers kindly placed in a frame before showing.

Private View, Juxtaposition

Private View, Juxtaposition, at Elizabeth James Gallery, South Norwood. Here I am, standing in front of my contribution to this show.

It’s always interesting getting feedback about my paintings – finding out how people interpret your work. It’s often surprising. You can learn a lot.

Juxtaposition

I will be taking part in the Juxtaposition show at Elizabeth James Gallery, from the 10th until the 23rd April. I will be showing a couple of my older Relationships Series paintings, as I think they fit the theme quite well.

Opening Night, INTENT (Part Two).

Despite having a stinking cold, I braved a chilly winter evening to attend the opening night of Intent (Part Two) – the latest show organised by Cultivate and curated by Sean Worrall and Emma Harvey. As with all of Cultivate’s events, it was well attended, with an interesting selection of art on display.
